Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and gas stove. We provide a coffee maker, blender, toaster, mixer, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, and cooking utensils to make meal preparation easy. The living area has a TV with satellite dish and digital music channels, DVD player, and an electric cast iron stove for cozy atmosphere.

The farmhouse sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms. Two upstairs bedrooms have queen beds; the first floor bedroom is furnished with a twin/trundle bed that converts to a queen size bed. There are two full baths and even an antique claw foot tub with a treehouse view of the old pines and hemlocks nearby. Also located on the second floor is a washer/dryer, in case you don’t want to face a pile of laundry when you get home! We even created a workspace with internet access, if you want to bring your laptop along.

There is a covered porch off the kitchen for outdoor dining, as well as tiered deck with outdoor lounge furniture. Facing the pond on the lowest deck is the 5 person hot tub. Two other covered porches provide places to swing or rock away some leisure time with a good book or a friendly conversation. The farmhouse is equipped with a generator that will automatically start in the event of a power interruption and is big enough to power the whole house. There is also a firepit for those evening gatherings and a propane grill for picnic dinners.

Our goal in restoring the farmhouse was to honor its history with the use of the original planking and antique furniture, while providing contemporary amenities to enhance your getaway experience.
